Graf Technology, LLC was founded in 2004 by Jacob Graf, who had already spent years fixing computers and building websites before making it official. What began as IT support and hand-built sites grew into design, development, and hosting for organizations across Wisconsin, and then into what it is today: a company that ships its own software products and partners with businesses on theirs.
The company is owned and operated by Jacob, with trusted collaborators brought in where a project calls for them. That structure is deliberate: the person you talk to is the person who designs and builds the thing, and nothing ships without someone caring about it personally.
The through-line across two decades is attention to the details other people skip: the empty states, the error messages, the edge cases, the way software feels when someone actually uses it.

The prologue
Long before the company existed, Jacob Graf was taking computers apart and building websites: for fun first, then for anyone who needed one done right.
2004
Graf Technology is founded
Jacob makes it official while still in college, turning years of fixing computers and building sites into Graf Technology, LLC.
2000s
IT support and web development
Hands-on IT support alongside hand-built websites, serving businesses, churches, and nonprofits around Appleton, Wisconsin.
2010s
Design, development, and hosting
The work matures into full websites with design, development, and managed hosting for dozens of Wisconsin organizations, from sports parks to manufacturers.
2020s
Products join the portfolio
Client work continues while the practice expands into designing, building, and launching software products of our own.
